Late Medieval (14-15C) Lead alloy flowers & a Nazi BUTTON (DLV)

**SORRY i know I spelt alloy wrong in the title AND it is of course not a badge but a Button . Cant change it

3rd day with the new detector. Yesterday we found a DLV badge (German Air Sports Association (Deutscher Luftsportverband, or DLV e. V.) was an organisation set up by the Nazi Party in March 1933) and a 1950's enamel badge (W.Miller, Birmingham).

Acquired a new permission only today very close by (4 acres, ploughed, virgin). went over to have a quick go and found a piece of what I am guessing to be horse-tack', a bullet and a lovely little lead alloy pair of flowers which I am gonna hazard at 14-15 century. I'll need to contact the FLO if it is indeed more than 300 yrs old.

I'm very pleased.

In my experience an item with a crown indicates Imperial times. Those times ended in Germany in 1918. I can't think of another Nazi item with a crown, but I may be mistaken. Gary

You might be right there Gary. I looked up another few DLV buttons and they had the crown but I am happy to admit i'm no expert in NAZI paraphernalia. Good shout though i'll check it out..

UPDATE - The Lead alloy thing is the Red rose of York and the white Rose of Lancaster. The token (as i am calling it), with the two flowers together, is signifying peace between the two houses after the war of the Roses (1455). Cool Huh?
