Hi! We found this in a very very old park. It appears to be all lead, not magnetic. The 3 screw things are threaded, not just rings. The screw things can not be seen from the bottom. We are clueless. 2 are too close together I think to screw anything onto it. Any ideas? 20210611_150816.jpg 20210611_150717.jpg 20210611_150841.jpg

Interesting! Wild shot in the dark, but the screws are encased in a plaster spill. The tips have broken off over the years. Does the surface have the feel of plaster/concrete? It may explain why it's lead but not magnetic. If you hang a magnet from a piece of string, can you get the magnet to move at all?

Good idea but magnet does not move. It is very hard and smooth. It is heavy and weighs 1.5 ounces. Thank you!

Looks like someone was trying to patch a problem area like on a boat that became a void after the screws were removed by pouring molten lead into it.

I think you are exactly right, Dug! I was thinking some sort of patch, too.

We are thinking a repair sounds right. Not an area with boats but maybe something different. Thank you all!!
