This 50 dollar gold with a black facet stone ring cost me $46. & change after the senior discount this TS has every Thursday. I felt pretty positive I'll get a good return out of it, with the 50 dollar bill I had in my wallet. Just about double my money on the deal.

I already got $120. cash money for it. Then from the coin shop with cash in hand I headed to Dillard's and purchased two pieces of James Avery jewelry for my darlings Christmas present. The two Avery pieces cost me $224.97. Paying with that cash for scrap, she'll see no CC activities at Dillard's and won't have an idea where I went shopping. It's hard for me to swallow the idea I paid that much for maybe 10 to 12 grams of sterling silver. 🙄

Sterling is going for $10 a gram basically then.

Maybe it's getting to be that time that I visit my buddy's safe storage.
Been sitting there now for 31 yrs.

That's basically it when it comes to inflating the price of silver. It's interesting how some of these well known jewelry manufacturers gain such a desire for their products to make those kind of profits out of small amounts of silver.

Back in 1993 I saw a necklace of this design in the window of a jewelry store.
$450.00+tax

I was selling the exact one for $160.00 retail.(No tax)
Plus I had the matching bracelet.

I approached them regarding buying wholesale off of me.
The long look down their 👃 at me.

I've paid up for certain sterling pieces. If I recall I made an $800. profit on this piece listing it on eBay
