Had plans of digging a dump site out.
Mosquitoes 🦟 had other plans for me-lunch!
So I hit the manicured tree farm field.
Not much to show for the 3 hrs of digging in the dry field
Ran with the deep program, each find was 6-8 inches.
Came in loud and clear.
Switched between programs and it was the deep that I stuck with.
The little button wasn't even heard on the Deus fast.
It was good to get a 1909 fishscale.
The little buckle is cool. Took a day to clean up the rust blob, formed from the tongue.
Anyways it was a relaxing good time to be out again.

Nice day out, Pepperj. I may have asked you before, but my memory fails me. Why is the 5 cent called fishscale?
Thanks WD
It was because of the size.
The 3 cent silvers were called that as well, but not as trendy as the Canadian silvers.
Close in size though.

Very nice finds pepperj! I'm with you on using the Deus " deep" program. It seems to hit much more consistently on deeper targets than the "fast" program. I've had good luck using " deep" as the base for a custom program.

Thanks Silvermonkey
I started to use the "deep" program more, and I really like it for hit.
The cuff button was just a little tweak on the Fast, but no mistaking it on the deep.
There's no problem hearing larger iron on the deep. Lol
