It’s been a very very long time since I’ve had a nice untouched loaded yard to detect like this afternoon’s. I got a surprise permission and me and a friend only had time to do around a quarter of it. It’s a big nice old property that gently goes down to a beach and once housed a old hotel. My buddy found 6 large cents, 4 silver quarters, 1 silver fish scale and 4 older small cents which was a very good haul in itself. I managed a even better haul with 9 large cents, 7 silver quarters, 3 silver dimes, 3 silver fish scales and 2 older small cents. All the coins range from 1859 to about 1920. The 1893 barber quarter was a sweet surprise. I have no doubt there’s lots more to find yet. I also hope there may be a gold ring around that property somewhere also with any luck. Thanks for looking! 😁👍

I wouldn't be able to sleep and I'd be back up at daybreak to go detect the other 3/4!

There is nothing as sweet as unpounded virgin sites!

If it wasn’t for Easter morning and the little ones I’d be doing it! 😂

That would be a great hunt even in the early seventies-roll ahead 50 yrs and it goes into the awesome unheard category for hunts.
Big congrats on the permission, the results, the thrill, and best of all a future hunt. :occasion14:
