After it stopped raining this afternoon. I popped on to a local field. It’s produced for me a lot of finds, over the years. It’s one of those fields, that always gives a little something. It was in stubble, but the stubble was fairly easy to search through. As well as finds, I’ve added a picture, of today’s fuel price, the prices shown are for a litre not a gallon 😢So it’s a good job l could walk to the site 😂. The silver coin is Edward l, Canterbury mint. Also in the picture two Medieval lead tokens. Robert

One reason, I love my only transport - electric bike. (Cars are expensive & would require me to work more days..lol)
Those are actually proper Medieval Tokens, nearly all of mine are 17th-18th C, we don't get many Medieval types down here!
Congrats on another hammered, we like to get 1 silver an outing for a target & you seem to be doing that easily enough....

Really cool you can still find stuff like that on a well hunted field, within walking distance no less!
Maybe I should put on a small coil and revisit some local spots.

RE; gas price, it's about the same here (different currency), record high price for a liter set on Oct 22.

Thanks Jeff, think we have higher fuel prices 👍
Yup, that's over $7.50 in U.S. dollars. Cheapest here in San Diego is over $4.00/gal. for gasoline/petrol which is bad enough!
