i use my Sony MP3 player headphones.. The blue clip=over-the-ear ones. very light weight and now dual purpose. i say try it. i use energizer's E2 lithium batteries in EVERYTHING!!! The blue ones....Not the plain ones. Duracell cannot hold a candle to them. Those should make your head phones last for a couple of months.

Templar09 a lot or reviewers said that those headphones break very easily for what it's worth.

WDFF, the Sony MP3 headphones that you use, are they cordless like the Logitech? I too am looking for a cordless solution for MDing.

Farmecal,
No, they are not wireless. Below is a link to an image of them. They are very light-weight, but, can be somewhat of a nuisance when using a shovel. They sell for 9.99 in my area. RS is always high. If you use wireless, tehn, I suggest the use of Energizer Lithium (blue) as wireless are always on and using battery life, unless, they will only power on when recieving voltage intended for regular headphones......
