Looking for a good teacher

Hi I am new at this and I would like some hands on training. I don't want to waste time not having the swing of it! I live in Pleasant Hill Missouri and I enjoy civil war history. I also enjoy the outdoors and I want the thrill of finding a treasure! Thanks !Denise

"Dont want to waste time not having the swing of it".....Uh, I didnt either, You can watch as many videos and read as many books on this. but the only way you will understand it , is to go out and hunt and learn what the machine tells you.
Yes, hunting with a buddy is helpful, but it doesnt make you an expert quickly
