Looking to buy a smaller coil for Exp II what is best??

Hey Guy and Gals, need some feedback on a smaller coil for the Exp II. I live in Arkansas Ozarks lots of rock and mineraliazation. Any suggestions for brand, size, etc?

I got a free 5 inch Excelorator coil from KellyCo when I ordered my Quattro, kept it when I sold the Quattro and I use it on the EXP II now. Works great, gets good depth and lets me do trashier areas and get closer to metal poles in playgrounds.

Thanks, everyone for your help. Sounds like the Excelerator is the most popular. Tony, are you just a Sunray dealer or have you actually compared the Sunray to the Excelerator? I have a Sunray probe on my Exp II and it's OK but can't say it's fantastic.

I've tried both and I like the Sunray better. Your Probe should be getting you 3 to 4". If not then you've got the detector in Motion mode and need to switch or there is a problem with it.

I bought the Excelerator 14" coil and have not been impressed with it. maybe my expectations were too high. That's why I'm looking for a Sunray 5.5 " coil for my XS.
