Copying & pasting from a FB article sent to me. Lost in Texas
"PLEASE CIRCULATE!!! My father is a 1958 West Point graduate who lost his class ring escorting me to MD Anderson in Houston on July 20,2020. This is an example (see photos)...his would have a larger blue topaz that is probably scratched and the engraving would be fairly worn. His is 1958!!! He served 22 years and is a silver star recipient. I am heart broken that he lost this helping me. We believe it may have been lost at an Arby’s/gas station on I-45 just north of Buc ees in Madisonville - possibly while drying his hands in the Dyson style hand dryer. Please help share!!!"

Have you found this yet? It would be hard to get it back, but I really hope you do. This is not just a simple ring.

Contact West Point and tell the story and that you want to get a replacement for your Dad. True, may not be the same as the original, but, if the original WAS lost at an Arby's or in the men's room, it's gone. I'm sure there are some hoops to go through, but I imagine it would make for a great surprise.

Actually, there's a 1958 for sale on eBay! $158 + shipping. Get it in time for Fathers Day.

I recommended this to someone who lost an old high school ring; contact West Point and tell the story and that you want to get a replacement for you Dad. Wont be the same as original, but, if the original WAS lost at an Arby's or in the mens room, it's probably gone. I'm sure there are some hoops to go through, but I imagine it would make for a great surprise.

I’d buy it for him. Just send me a PM.
