I notice in one photo that you found an opium bottle. Do you have any other chinese medicine bottles?
With characters embossed on them?

There are some nice bottles in there. Covers a wide timespan too. I see some civil war period (maybe some earlier) up into the mid 1900's Very cool

Thank you much.

Steve -

I couldn't figure out a way to send pictures via Private Message, so will attach photos here.

I just thought you might like to see what some of the earlier Coke bottles looked like.
One is a "straight sided version (pre Hobble Skirt) from around 1910
The other is the 1915 one I was telling you about.
The people picture is of a real Hobble Skirt that was popular with women during this era.

Thanks again.

Bob

WO! !! Infriggincredible! I had no idea! Are there very many of them around that you are aware of??? Thanks for sharing this really cool info! I am from Atlanta Ga. originally, and my brother and father before him have an advertising agency and have done work with Coca Cola for many years. The bottle bug didn't bite me til about 10 years ago, so as you know there are plenty of bottles to consider so I'd like to think it's conceivable that I not know about this, but I can't wait to share this with them! Thanks again!

The green one is a caper bottle. Depending on condition and variety, they can fetch a decent price at auction.
