Hello everyone. Finally got my first detector a week ago and I've been having a blast. I'm in the Greenville, SC area and looking for guidance on where to go, possibly looking for a partner to school me, etc. Any help is appreciated

Welcome to TNet from upstate NY. If you are a history buff, be sure to check old county and town histories, and church histories of you area. If there were early (1800-1820) revivals in the area, they were likely held outside in wooded groves....you can find them with research.
