Went hunting on the weekend with a buddy
we hit 3 fields that use to have homes on them from the 1800s
we had good success.
the fields were hard to swing, due to the mounds of plow dirt.
2 fields produced the coins 8 tokens all from the 1800s and some relics to boot.
We both got 4 tokens.

Love them homesteads! Nice days work.
Don, what part of eastern Canada are you hunting in? Were all 8 tokens pre-confederate Canadian?

I hunt in southern Ontario
and hit fields that once had old homes from the 1870s and earlier
but are long gone, even before the electric age ( little aluminum trash )
