:hello2: Hi,

Gorgeous sunny day mid- morning...got up into the 50's around noon time . :icon_sunny:

Hunted as far out as low tide would allow me; found the thickly encrusted silver ring about 8" deep in the mud.

All stones in the ring are intact.

Not the usual high silver sound from the GT...a mid -tone :dontknow:

I think the ring is more than a few years old; it was difficult to clean and get shiny.

Soup spoon has seen its bettter days...lots of holes in it :help:, but will add it to my place setting for conversational purposes only ;D

Here's pics

Thanks for looking

Lorraine

That spoon looks like the one I use for my electroysis setup... after 8 months of using it, it looks like it has serrated edges!

Nice ring and it cleaned up really nice....

Hmmm, wonder why the midtone on the GT?? Don't matter though, you got it and that is what counts.

thank you, Lookindown,

The beach where I find these spoons is a very old beach...cottages and summer homes dotted the entire area spanning the shoreline since the early 1900's up until the '60's -'70's when redevelopment projects began .

I have found many old coins, old class rings, and old home items buried in the mud and dry beach sand.

Nice ring!

Keep the spoons to sell for scrap brass if the are silver plated brass and the stainless ones for your stainless steel bucket.

You always seem to amaze me Lorraine as to how
you can get those old, crusty rings and things to
shine like brand new. Well done....Gold Nuggets :hello:
