LQC WISHART'S Pine Tree Tar Cordial bottle 1859 .

I found about one half of a LQC Wishart's bottle One panel has a pine tree and 1859 embossed on it Another side has shart's on it and another panel has tree /rsial /hila on it I have been able to find an example of one on the internet. Has anyone on here ever found one intact Does anyone have any history of the company Does the 1859 indicate the year the bottle was made Thanks for looking

In 1873 Lucius Q. C. Wishart apparently sold his interest in the cordial, or a new firm was formed for which H. R. Wishart (son?) patented the trademark; bottles with the inscription "TRADE MARK" thus appeared after 1873 (see McKearin and Wilson, "American Bottles & Flasks and Their Ancestry," p. 304).

Thanks for your quick reply . I had seen some other smaller pieces of the same color glass before I found the piece in the picture If the time line is right that would make this only the second bottle I ever found that is that old But close is just what makes you wish for what might have been .
