Here's my M40 Single Decal Heer helmet, that I've had for many years. NOLA Ken having posted his M35 Double Decal Heer helmet on another helmet post made me think of mine. Mine is currently packed away, while we finish Hurricane Michael repairs, and I don't recall offhand who manufactured it.

I've since installed a reproduction liner and chinstrap in the helmet. I thought of using a period liner and chinstrap, but didn't wish to misrepresent it. After I'm gone, I didn't wish for it to be sold as an original 100% intact example.

ETA: If my memory isn't failing me, the helmet is marked ET64 or an Eisenhüttenwerke Thale made helmet.
