Maybe the last one?

After seeing what the northeast just collected. I figured that maybe an attempt at a last constitutional for '24 might be in order.
Sooooo, off I went. Was a bit tough, 32 degrees a bit of wind, but I toughed it out. Hopefully, it'll give those who cant get out, something to read.

and then....there was this novel wrinkle to my usual OTWBTTC scenario.

I was walking across the parking lot and happened to see a piece of paper laying there.

I just figured to be a good citizen and pick it up and put it in my trash pouch.

But, for some unknown reason, I opened the paper up. Maybe to see if it was a lost treasure map? ;}

Barump bump!! And now....you know the rest of the story, Also, the receipt had nothing to do with the area I was in, it was many miles away!
Anyhoo, stay warm out there!

And, thanks for taking time to peek!

I have *always* watched the ground! Even b4 I knew what a detector was! 🤓

I wasn't sure what that coin was that Fishy is eyeing. But, after some hard looking, I believe I know what it is...but I won't say.

Ok...guess it was either too obvious or too boring. The strange coin was a nickel that had been squished. Twist it around and you can see Monticello. 👀

It's snowy and cold here north of the Mason Dixon line, no hunting now. I appreciate seeing the nice finds in your post. Vicarious hunts are nice, and easy, but don't give much exercise! Right now they are the only option for lots of us.
