Found on my new permission of 800 acres . on the last remaining stubble of the year - l was just thinking that the field l was on was a bit of a washout, and the very next signal at only six inches deep and remarkably in perfect condition for something that fragile and around 600 years old..
Shining in the sunlight. A beutiful gold finger ring .... Hutch.:icon_thumleft:

Not had that type yet, SS had one, although my medieval gold ring sold for over £4000 in the end (after the BM handed it back).

BIG CONGRATS

You know the drill, kiss it goodbye for 18 months. My bets, are that a Museum will show interest, up until the point they have to pay, hoping your donate it & when you don't your get it back. Unless of course you do donate it..lol In which case the whole thing speeds up.

Beautiful ring. Great shape. Hope they return it to you but imagine a museum will want that one. Congratulations.!

People dont realize that we didnt just invent metal working in the past 200 years. The ring is really a great example of gold working as well as stone setting
