Metal Arrowhead(?)

I found this metal arrowhead (?) in an old drainage ditch by my grandfather's farm in Sanilac County Michigan when I was a kid. It is about a 1 1/2 inches from base to tip and then about an inch from bottom to top. It is metal but I do not know what metal it is. Really have no idea what it would be as it looks different than any other metal arrowhead I've ever seen as it is so thick.
