Not much around your area, but try out the Gold Prospectors of Colorado, they are located in the Colorado Springs area.

Buddy we have more detectorists in the Pike peak adventure league here in colorado springs. We have people come up all the way from walsenburg.I also belong to Gold Prospectors. If I could only chose one I definitely go with ppal. It meets the first thursday of every month at Nemeths resraurant. Hope to see you there sometime.

As for PPAL, they do a club hunt usually once a month during the warmer months. But like most all clubs it is getting more difficult to find places that allow a larger number of people access. The meetings usually are interesting and you will make friends, but the best success would be to find a friend or two and hit it together. All the clubs I have belonged to the best finds were usually from individual hunts. There is no age limit with PPAL and family dues are the same as individuals.
