Whoa…!
Do you still plan on making them…??
Hope so…!
My Fisher Gold Bug Pro large coil broke at the ears and gluing didn’t help.
Your fix looks great

If I can get the files from the OP I can print them.
My setup..
I have ABS (green, a little black, and transparent) , and (all black)- 3DXTECH-ASA, ASA-CF, ABS-CF, PETG-CF. CF=carbon fiber. CF is stiffer. I have not printed one of these ear stiffeners so idk how the CF material works in use in the field.
Oh yeah- I just received some 3DXTECH PC filament. I have not printed anything with it yet.

Whoa, if you are saying that you might have the ear stiffener for maybe my Fisher spider coil...??
Great!
Then, you're the one to talk to further........
Thanks,
Jim

I don't have any files (.STL, .3MF, .step, .gcode) for any of the detectors to be able to print the stiffeners.

I was kinda hoping for a fix, rather than buying a new coil.....
