an old fashioned clothing iron that you heat up on a wood fire stove?
I don’t know anything about old clothing irons. We’re they made out of lead like this? And it’s small..unless you mean it’s a broken piece off a old iron maybe that’s possible

I don’t know anything about old clothing irons. We’re they made out of lead like this? And it’s small..unless you mean it’s a broken piece off a old iron maybe that’s possible
the old irons were called sad irons and were not made of lead . and were not that small .

Thank you for the extra pictures they may help in an ID. I myself can't ID it ,it is a strange item but maybe the extra pictures can help.
