✅ SOLVED Mezcal Hand Grenades?

Ok....so I know they're not grenades, but figured it would get your attention and hopefully help me figure out 😁 Smaller than grenades, these sit at only about 2. 3/4 inches high and wide. I found these two together in a small, broken wooden crate inside my family's old barn.
They appear to be possibly be made of clay and are hand painted. They have federal stamps, sticker/decal, paint, and corks on both. One has an additional sticker claiming to be specially made or something (my Spanish is no bueno and my eyes not much better).
Please let me know if additional pics would help. Thanks in advance to those that can help identify or figure out what these might be worth.

They remind me of fire suppression grenades.
