Well, I am thru with this one until the roads dry out. The actual cache area is very hard to navigate on foot. You are walking on about a foot of pine needles that conceal many obstacles. I estimate it would take about a month of detecting to come up with the cache.

Word is that someone is hitting the VA cache pretty hard and there is a new cache in NC. This one looks pretty good so far. I have reviewed the pdf on this one and narrowed down the area. Any one like to beach hunt? LOL Frank.

It would be really funny if a person went looking for the cache in the mine and found a gold vein instead.

Well, there is a lot of activity on the woodsy swamp cache. Some guys have actually gone thru the flooded parts of the swamp and posted pictures. I don't think it is in the flooded area though. My interpenetration of the story and latest clues puts it in a dryer area. It's a 400 mi round trip for me and blue so I have to come up with a few more bucks before I go up there again. I would estimate there are about 10 hunters looking for this one. It's amazing that more arent looking for this app. $20K cache.

Either they, can't go there, life got in the way, or they don't believe.

Do you think whom ever finds it will say so?

There is a note in the cache with a phone number to call and let the person that hid it know it is found.
The finder of the original cache notified the person who hid it.
The reason they notify him is to insure new caches will be placed.

Well, my dog Blue has been sick. He was coughing up flem. After a $99 vet bill, he is fine now. He had to take teramel & doxycycline. It was in his throat and sinus, his chest was clear. I am working on some art work to sell. The shows are getting closer. No new news on the caches.

Well, the Virginia cache has been narrowed down to a camp ground so maybe this one will be found next.

Been working all winter on art shows. I have to ease back into detecting. These old bones like 70 Degrees.
Here's an update. Two caches have now been found. I don't know what the second one was yet since I am just easing back into the game. The cache count is over 10 now.
I am also looking for a used 4X4. These caches are way back in the woods. The last one I looked for had a 100 yard strip of back road that looked like the mud was a foot deep. The road, which was cut thru a hill was so narrow that I couldn't get my 21' MH thru. Yea My MH has 4 wheel drive and a 305HP diesel but the trees had crowded in.
Hay, you have to work for these caches. owl-2.jpg
