In both of them? the stuff on her chest is fascinating. In Isleworth M L, suspect the v. d. refers to Via Dolorosa, The Steps to Calvary, The Stations of the Cross. Station XI is of particular interest. Working on that aspect.

Imagination running wild? It can be fun though.
imagination is definitely running. My challenge is proving a negative, revealing what is deliberately concealed. Chasing Leonardo's and others' secrets is pure joy, though limited by my graphics skills.

Here is my best example so far. from painting to ground, a coastline and a landmark in exactly the right place with exactly the right shape. unseen for 500 years, until now. A collapsed dolmen, Dolmen du Crapaud near Billiers, France.

Pretty simple, and this knucklehead is just trying to prove it to the world. Difficult for a nobody.
