Dude....i been wrapping my mind around this for quite a while, i have experimented, and all i can say is my tones seem more solid, and i come back home with more nicer finds than trash.

I read something about the moon phases exerting a pull even on our blood due to the iron in it. I have no idea about your theory but the moon phases affect us all.

Hmmm. I thought about your theory. The moon's effect is gravitational, whereas a metal detector utilizes an electromagnetic field. The moon has no magnetic field. On the other hand, moon phases apparently do have an effect on animal (us) behavior for as yet unexplained reasons. Maybe we feel more alert, or aware to what our machine is telling us.

My mother retired from a state hospital/funny farm she says that every full moon the tards got even more crazy....
