More Buckles and a Few Bucket Lists ftom lost 1850s home site. Stone privy or well? Discovered

The large buckles came from the hill top above the Victorian dump as did a rough but very green 1927 wheaty. Everything else is either from the early to mid 1800s home site or the later one I cut through to get there. The home at the later one clearly burned down at some point post mid 1930s given the 1935 mercury dime is fire damaged and the amount of charred wood and ash around once your start digging.

Anyway, this hunt yielded my 1st lead bail seal, smallest buckle, first 193_ merc, first 190_ Indian head cent and my 1st barrel tap or gas valve. Other coin next to seal is a rough and falling apart Indian. Also shown is a musket ball, pewter spoon handle, green lid to something with some silver plating left here and there, draw pull screw, collar stud and a mystery pointy item (near collar stud)
Stumbled on this stone lined well? Or privy near another mid 1800s site. Dug a little bit to see what it was. Few inches it turns to sand and starts filling with water. Was covered in fallen tree branches and leaves so was easily missed. Any ideas? Guess I should probe it?

Well first Indian from 1900s and first merc from the 30s. Up to now I only had 1916, 1923, 1924D, 1941, 1942 and a mostly melted no date merc. All my Indians have been pre 1900 until the 1905 in this post.

Your barrel tap looks more like a piece from a petcock....maybe from a hit and miss engine.
