But here is the problem You gave assumed they did. No guarantees of anything being there Amigo of course. The property might be demolished or under a Walmart? Or an open field no one is interested in. Not a viable proposition for me living on the others side of the planet by for an old hand like you might be an interesting site to detect with a little research?

Just a note the only person I found by that name who died in 1890 ages 65 IN birth deaths and marriage register 1694 - 1934 She had a Husband called Thomas Kane but this tentative as I could not find a connection Birmingham and date discrepancy 1893 newspaper story which could of been due to probate? If it was the right Margret and her husband was actually Thomas Kane we might get a mention and address in 1880 census or 1890 census that possible give an address. Or via Birmingham directory of the 1890's?
