Honestly the 950 is a great beach coil. I use it on my M6 and it performs flawlessly on the beaches .... Even wet Sand

My mxt comes with the d2 coil so what I am doing is trying to ad a coil that I may use at the beach and maybe open fields with little trash I'm not sure I would use the 950 ever so I was thinking something bigger so that I would have a small coil the d2 and a big coil. Should I go with a bigger whites coil or maybe a sef?

Ok - well I have the 12" 300 - you'll have to turn down the sensitivity, but it'll cover ground.

On the saltwater beach I use the 950 coil 100% of the time. I would also buy the 6X10 White's coil for those trashy parks.

I was using my M6 this afternoon on the high tide line .., I mean this sand was soaked with salt water. My M6 in the BEACH mode ran silent at factory discrimination and my sensitivity at about 80% - found some clad at 6-10"
