Due to my challenged eye sight this one had me fooled right up till I got home and read the hallmark.

To my dismay it's discreetly stamped CHINA and CZ 925.
The PAJ stands for Prime Art and Jewel, the Chinese company that made it.
Well at least it's sterling!

Is it too much to ask that people loose real rings!

It's pretty though....and makes your heart jump just the same when it pops out of the dirt....or sand.

Still a nice looking ring! Every time I get something that looks like treasure I just put it in the pouch and hope. Gives me energy for about 30 more minutes.

Hate to state it, but todays rings are often made of new age materials which have no scrap value.
So unless you can find a buyer or know someone to give it to, they have no value since the metals are not precious.

When, hunting solo, I stealthy secure found rings in a hidden pouch and do not see again until after I have returned home and cleaned all my gear and secured it. The indication that it was silver and not white gold would be its high pitched multivariable tone.
Also, it would not be heavy enougn to be platinum.

Betta a finder than a loser be!

When one of these flashes in my hand I get a quick adrenalin rush...
Then when I get a good look... Its like someone let the air out of my balloons.

I have found so many of these it is not funny...
AND I might point out...
Not to add insult to injury...
many are stamped 925... but are nothing more than plated copper.

Regardless... Onward through the fog !

OMG! what a heartbreaker, Hydro Man.

I've found my share of these bogus rings, also, but keep at it....and you'll find a precious ring that make your day!

Found a gold ring that was a real keeper. Then I gave it back to the lady that lost it. Her tears of joy was the greatest treasure.

I feel the pain with you.

I was at Walmart with the wife hanging back a bit and looking at all the junk Jewelry they are selling.

Then it seams like every one is wearing those tungsten wedding rings lately.

I couldn't even get $50 bucks for an Art Carved one with Celtic script on it.
