Found my first arrowhead ever in Derby, Indiana on my wife’s family’s property along the Ohio river! It was hot Wednesday and the ticks are bad! But still was worth the day.
Nice!!!! Congrats!!!!

They must be great finds. Here in Oz I hope to find ancient, old Aboriginal artifacts. Myself, have not found 1.
But, my, our cherished find, my wife did find one.
Nuts story.
We lived in a tiny tiny town in Victoria for several years called Tarnagulla.
We had a fantastic friend who was an Aboriginal Alex. I went detecting with him and we found gold, we went fishing, yabbying (crawfish) we had bbqs the lot. Great great friend. We were all very tight as you guys say. One day im out detecting, and my misses goes for a bush walk with Alex as we and she did often. My misses apparently looked down as Alex is showing her the area and says "Alex, what's this!?" And picks up a stone.
It was/is an Aboriginal crushing stone. Maybe for seeds or similar maybe for stone grinding for colours. He said yes, its from us. Some dont, Aboriginal like anyone taking them. But he was happy for my misses, us, to have it. He said " why nobody have it and stay hidden, have it and keep it'
We very much cherish it. Alex is gone now. He was a gun gold nugget prospector I can tell you and put me on some great spots. And did we ever have some awesome BBQs at his place. Alex Camp from Tarnagulla Victoria Australia. Best mate and friend iv ever had đź‘Ťđź‘Ťđź‘Ťđź‘Ť

Congrats on finding your first arrowhead, a really beauty I might add. Where there's one, there might be more.

Very nice and sorry the loss of your friend. I’ve been to Australia once when I was in the Marines. It was around 1998-98 in Brisbane. Very nice. Drank a lot of xxxx beer. Did some training in the jungle.

Nice point! I've only found one while metal detecting on private property up above Gleenwood Springs, CO. Swinging along, I see a white diamond shaped rock. The color was out of place with all the other rock around...picked it up and, sure enough.
Grats and go find some more!
