After hunting today for about two hours and finding a handful of wheats and clad this old spoon popped up! Previously I had only found plate spoons so this is a nice first... no silver coins today but I'll take it!

Does anyone have any information on the hallmark or the spoon itself? Thanks for looking and HH! I'll prolly post the rest of my finds from today and yesterday later or tomorrow but there wasn't anything super special.

EDIT: I circled the marks on the back in red. It reads STERLING W[in circle] [?] D. EAFFY

Really nice find. A bonus that it wasn't flattened or bent into a pretzel.

Nice, I have a sterling silver spoon that randomly popped up in my 20 acre almond orchard. Mine got chewed up by a plow. Mine was found in an area I never find anything had given up and was walking home when I got stopped by a loud high tone, I was thinking eh soda can and out randomly popped a big ol silver spoon. Yours looks a lot cooler than mine. Awesome find.

Hey Noah I?m so happy for you congratulations on that. The world is the limit My first real find I ever had was a silver child spoon. I had a bounty hunter and I just went on the property
Since it was vacant I had a regular shovel and I heard something in a dug it and there was nothing there. I said this is crazy I?m getting out of here when I went to put my shovel in my truck they had a chunk of clay still on the shuffle but on the very outside of the clay was a silver curvature that was my first piece of silver and I came out the water I was so hooked and my fishing crew thought I was loosing my mind because I couldn?t stop and my poles have dust on them. 59339413351__2410F891-98D7-4F55-B20F-9AC7FF897E39.jpg
