A good friend, and one of the best treasure hunting partners I've ever had, Andrew Kiss, recently took up yet another hobby creating Silver Coin Rings. I sent him a 1921 Morgan Silver Dollar that I bought from a member here, and this is the beautiful ring he created for me - Wow! Thank you Andrew!!! :icon_thumright::headbang::hello2:

I love it! I'm not much of a ring wearer, but I'd wear that one for sure.

Beautiful. I've seen folks make these and it is absolute witchcraft the way they keep the original imprints unmarred.

Would he do any more Terry? If so, what would he need to make one payment-wise?

One time before on T-Net a member had a ring made just like that. I thought it to be fantastic, just as I do now in seeing yours Terry. Back then I went to two well known jeweler's in town here, to have one made, neither really knew how to do it. With the ring showing detail outside and inside the ring. Had and still have some 1883 Silver Dollars, they did not want to attempt it, and both place's design and create rings etc. for goodness sake. Go figure. Drove over to a larger town, same thing, so... I let it go. Some day I'll find a place to have one made for myself and my wife. I tell ya, that IS a metal detector guy's ring. Beautiful. Thanks for sharing that Terry, I think you got a lot of guys thinking.

Nice ring, Terry.
They're all over Ebay including wedding bands made from gold coins.
I have a tectin' buddy that makes them as well but haven't sent him a coin yet.
