My new X-Terra 70

I am new the hobby, now about 1 hour into it. Turns out my backyard is FULL of trash. I love this machine in the very little time that I have had it, but why does it not have a back light. I swear I thought it did, maybe it was another machine I was reading about. You guys are a wealth of information, looking forward to the next few months of detecting.

Congrats on the new X-70. Go to www.findmall.com and go to the X-Terra section. Then read the FAQFAQ post. It has the most information on the X-70 that you will find anywhere. Like this forum, you will find great people over there also.

No back light is a good thing to extend battery life. Having only 4-AA, the light would eat them up fast.

Thats a easy fix.. Just get a keychain LED light and some velcro...
