your tip of reading the manual now is spot-on. indeed, the Makro Legend is not something that a 1st timer might want to use, especially when there is a Makro Simplex that punches way-way above its weight class. Since my hands-on experience with the Simplex has been fantastic, I almost can't imagine anything else being significantly better. For now, I'm reading the manual as suggested, patiently waiting on my pre-ordered Legend.
