no luck for me, after sleeping in the grocers parking lot last night, spending the morning in macdonalds for the internet, waiting for the pharmacy to open, having the clouds part, then spending 9 hours detecting "approved areas" I deciding panning was going to be more fruitful. I panned a bunch of dirt, filled up a little glass bottle i brought with me about 1/2 way, and then packed it in. I happen to show a guy the stuff i panned and he let me know that i had a bunch of yellow rocks mixed in. about 40% were rocks.

I think I am going to stick with parks and magnet fishing for a bit, at least until i have a gold machine.

This is what I use to spend the night in a parking lot. The top pops up and it's really not too bad. :)

Not a bad setup, looks a lot more comfortable than the passenger seat of the hilux
