🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Mystery metal..umm…what?

Found this metal bit on the beach this morning….thought maybe once it was cleaned up, it would look less “dirty”…but alas, it made it worse 😂 it’s difficult to unsee 😂 hoping someone here can help me identify what the heck it actually was! I can’t imagine it is what it appears to be! 😂😂 the beach used to be a dump from the early 1900s to about the 1960s…I think it might be silver, but I haven’t tested it..about 2” tall..very chuckle-worthy 😂

Because of the corrosion I would say It's a piece of aluminum slag?

It's part of one of these...I rule. I actually own one.

This is my thought, as well! But I haven’t found one online that looks to be the same yet! I would think it was slag or some random metal, but it just seems much too intentionally shaped 😂 and it’s equally thin, and concave on the back, like a shaped piece of jewelry 🤷🏻‍♀️
