If you turn the pictures the image also changes & it has all sorts of stuff drawn/carved on it.

Agree. Looks like a melted blob of aluminum. If silver it would be heavy. Why no pics of the other finds? I am not big into native pieces so I am not familiar with portable rock art? How about some more pics and welcome to the site.

Hey Fossil
Welcome to TreasureNet

Did you notice any signs of a fire pit in the area you found your "silver" nugget?
Silver would have some weight to it and if it is a melted piece of aluminum it will be light weight.
I hope it's heavy for it's size.

Also could we see some of the other artifacts you found??

Sorry, not native American art. It is melted metal of some type.

Would like to see your "lot of native American tools & portable rock art". That looks like a melted blob of aluminum. Please give us more to go on.

Need help I dug this up along with a lot of native American tools & portable rock art but this appears to be solid silver just not sure any thoughts are welcomed!!

First , context. In detail. What substrate ,depth , location ,(no ,we don't want to know where the site is ,rather how it relates to the area. Shelter? Water? Charcoal layer a foot deep?

Secondly , without testing it for silver , how does it appear to be silver?

Portable art is an interesting , maybe even colorful description.
Art as in talisman? Or effigy? Or jewelry?

If I had not dug up boxes of stone tools & portable rock art along with it & the silver has a hole but they like people or monster looking people inside that tiny hole on the silver fine I chalk it to slag but that not the case my friend...
