Native American Tool?

My mother in law found this rock in East TN back in the 50s or 60s. She thinks it’s Native American. Do you agree? If so what is it? Thanks

Honestly I’m not sure it’s natural, looks like somebody pored out some thinset, just the way it’s cracked, and what looks like a few bubble voids, the smoothness, and the color… could be natural but looks a lot like what I’ve got when I’ve poured out extra thinset (mortar to stick ceramic tile) in case you guys call it something else.

It could be a stone used to grain, like a mortar and pistol. Many tribes used them, My grandma and aunts did, just a thought, and maybe insight to some native tools

Seen many rock walls and bolders that native Americans would use to smooth down the insides of leather pelts by beating the pelt against them. Sometimes I'd wonder why those rocks were worn out so smoothly till someone pointed it out to me. That Rock of your is smooth for sure, but naturally, not by man from what I see.

I thought it looked like plaster of Paris the first time I laid eyes on it.
