It old and most likely native American. But I've never seen coral that looks brown....I think it is a dark agate. Nice find!

Not sure what you have BK? Maybe from the 70s ? and I do learn towards it as a authentic assembled by native American piece made with imported materials. Back in the 90s I was frequently traveling through the Gallup Grant's area and all the big tourists retailers had sold out to Persian peddlers and authentic Native made items had been replaced with import items of all kinds of real silver jewelry from who knows where.

I think the dark stones are unpolished jasper, Very cool looking necklace and I also think it would be Native American made are there any makers marks on the metal pieces.
