3 bags of nickels: 3 war nickels (45PPD), 11 keeper dates, and these:

The bit to the left of the "FIVE" makes me think possible 1913 type 1?

Also got these
2 more proofs:

Looks like a clipped planchet to me:

Happy hunting everyone, back to cents for me!

Yes, it is a Type 1. If I was to hazard a guess, it is a 1913 S Type 1. In AG condition, you should be able to flip it for $20. If the S was more pronounced, it would push to $30.

If you wanted to experiment, you could try some Nic-A-Date. See if a shadow of the date and mintmark shows up. Even Nic'd up, there is a collector looking for a filler in their collection.

Type 1 all the way! Though I don't see an S mintmark.

Primo finds again! :icon_thumright:

Great scores my friend

Definitely a Type I, although I'm not seeing the "S". Nice score either way.

Kindest regards,
Kantuck

Yeah, not distinguishing any mintmark, just happy to have another type 1!
