A friend found this sticking out of the ground behind her house. It's marked .925 and is hollow with this strange shaman figure on the top.

Hopefully someone recognizes this.

Thanks everyone for the input. I was hoping to see one attached to whatever it was intended for, but that seems like a longshot now. I sent the link to this thread to the woman who found it.
You never know. It may be solved years from now lol.

Really cool!! No idea but my guess would go with the bottle stopper/ top kinda thing. I found something kinda similar design but made of lead, ok maybe not so similar now that I look at it but weird just the same. Came out of a militia camp near me……

I think it’s brass and possibly a BELL! Need a pic of inside. Any signs of attachment inside for ball? African tribal origins, perhaps slave owned and brought to America. That’s my guess. Ghana

Scroll through my previous replies to questions. I show pictures of the inside and the .925 marking.

Sorry, I only looked at page 2 of your post.
I can’t see fully inside, pic please. Even if nothing is inside.

I stand by my African origins ID.

That figure def does not look of Hawaiian or Native American descent. That hat is a dead giveaway, imo.

Thanks. There is nothing inside and there will be no more pics. This piece is at my friend's place, 60 miles from me.
