Great photos of the busy beaver.
I see them swimming back and forth on the bay but never on the land here.

Still remember in /79 we were on a beer run. Stopped in a park for a leak and there was this beaver walking right past in front of the Charger.

Well half gassed up we all decided that we'd bring a new beaver back to the house to party. :laughing7:

I took my Whites Detector jacket off, proceeded to throw it over the beaver to wrap it up and put to in the trunk.(Seemed like a brilliant idea at the time)

That big fellow leaped up, had the biggest set of yellow looking teeth, bit right through the sleeve of the jacket, and held on.
Now it's in a tug-a -war trying to get my jacket back, it's hissing at me with a full clenched mouth.
I ended up letting go-gave it the jacket, we got in the car I turned it around, and dumped the clutch on the pee gravel parking lot.
Beaver dropped the jacket-I gained a whole lot of respect for the critter after that meet up.

Chris, beaver are never comfortable out of the water. They can't move
fast, and aren't built for land combat so when out of the water they are
at their most vulnerable.

He went up the beach, grabbed a handful of grub and went right back
to the water to eat, and from the number of tail trails in the sand, it's
been raiding that particular veggie fridge quite often.

Step inside his comfort zone and he'll show ya his nasty disposition, and
what those teeth can do to flesh and blood.
