As mental preparation for this contest, I confined myself for weeks deep in the swamp, eating nothing but copperheads and water thistle. I would swim up to gators, get nose to nose with them, and stare them in the eyes until swam away.
My training on the other hand, consisted of smoking cigarettes and eating little chocolate donuts....
