I like it! Great idea. Much faster than doing it with your hands. And, less tiring. Now, what it needs is to have all that motorized.....preferably with a 12v motor. Adjustable timing between the rotary action, and the flip. The only problem I see is that you could accomplish the same thing (continuous feed classifying) with nothing but a sloped screen and a 12v vibrator, though you wouldn't have the water helping clean the material.

You could easily build a similar device without all the claptrap and foot pedal and what not. Just hinge a classifier to your bucket with a wooden handle attached opposite the hinge. Fill the classifier, jiggle the handle up and down, then dump.

$350? Twenty bucks max.

Agree, some PVC, 2 springs, (5 dollar bucket,and a classifier,that we already have) ...DIY... well under $50.00...... and done

I was thinking of building something like this but mine was going to be powered with a sawzall rocking a bucket. One thing I see breaking on this one is the metal connected to a plastic classifier over time that will be the first thing to fail.
It got me thinking.

I like it. how portable is it? Does it break down so you can pack it?
