Hi! I am not an active seeker, but I found this in our creek and would love to know if you think this is Native (or at least man made) or just a natural formation. I love it either way, but I've always wondered. The area it was found is known for artifacts. I can add more photos if needed. It fits right into my palm and almost has a thumb rest. It's very cute.

My guess is that it is natural but with a fossil or fossilized markings form an animal or plant. BUT! I'm far from an expert.

Looks like what you have there is a fossil shell imprint in some rock matrix.
