Hey Bohuntz welcome aboard. I live in Indy (NW side) and also use the 250. We should get together in the early spring when the ground thaws out.

What a bummer to have to wait till spring to hunt. High of a chilly 68 here in Orlando today Brrrrr ( ). I know you do your research in the winter, but I get twitches when i don't hunt for a week, 3 months would drive me nuts.

I did my time in the frigid north, so I know how it feels. I have lived in North Dak, Minn, Nebraska, Iowa, Mo, Ohio, and Colorado. I know what it means to be freezing. I tore North Dak out of my atlas when I left there.

I have lived in huntington Indiana my whole life but have never looked at the area as a metal detector until now I just purchased a white's DFX and would appriciate if anyone could give my locations of hot spots or of areas to look TNX

I moved to Indiana in 1998 from
Seattle WA. Retireing ( simi-retireing ) next year.
Will have to work a couple days a week to
make ends meet.

Use an MXT and an Ace 250.
