New to metal detecting and metal detecting forum

Hi all, I am new to metal detecting. Over Christmas I received the Minelab Excalibur II and Just ordered a Minelab Safari. I am situated an hour from South New Jersey beaches in Southeastern PA. I hope to beach hunt over the next year when I have time. I have found a few sites here in PA. Over the last few weeks I have been pulling pounds of pull-tab's, keys, old farm stuff, and possibly a silver pendant (have not had a chance to check it). No good coins yet all clad. Any tips to find sites with older coins and more silver??
