newb to the beach scene going to tampa in a few months. what the skinny the bay or the ocean beach. ne good site/s sorry for the vagueness, ne sunken beach wrecks similiar but not the treasure coast?ne feedback thankx crew!

Hey dekalb - I don't know about the Tampa area, but for general beach hunting you should read this site (you've probably already seen it)...it's a must for beach hunters. Sandman has met the guy, I did too, at the beach in Galveston. He's passed on, but he let out all the secrets before he left.

thanks kids! i have read this golden site many times ive gleaned much from it everytime i read it again and again he was a very technical guy guess it helps being a rocket scientist.hoping a local surf rat would pop up but guess ill have to wade in with my brother in tow!!he'll be the beer "boy" mostlly till the goodies start poping!

At least you get to take your brother in tow. I had my brother in law along as a partner a few times. What a putts. I once wrapped a wire onto his coil and it took him half an hour to figure out something was wrong. Then once I had to cut in front of him to get to deeper water to cool off and found a very nice mans ring and he says I stole it from him.

Don't forget the mirror sunglasses for the babes in thongs.
