Nice civil war artifacts found today!!! Help on one?!?!?

I found these at a union camp all in a field about the size of a football field. Some bullets and a cool button. Any ideas on what type of button? And what is the other object I did a close up of? It was found 10 inches down and the bullets were only 8 inches so it has to be civil war. Thanks everyone!
